Do you tattoo in colour?
No — black and grey only. Working inside one discipline is what makes the tonal range possible, and it is the only kind of tattoo I take on.

What does a tattoo cost?
A day session is £600. Smaller pieces of around 5–10 cm are usually £220–£350, depending on the design and the placement. Every piece is quoted individually and you will have a figure before anything is booked.

How do I book?
Send your references, a rough size and the placement you have in mind — using the enquiry form on the booking page, Instagram, or sigiskasp@gmail.com. Once the scope is agreed, a £50 deposit confirms the date.

How can I pay?
Contactless card in the studio on the day, or bank transfer by arrangement. PayPal Pay in 3 and Klarna are also available where they are offered to you. Nothing is paid through this website — the figure is agreed first, and payment is arranged directly. Bank details are given once a date is agreed and are never published here.

Can I pay in instalments?
PayPal Pay in 3 and Klarna may be available, subject to approval. Both are forms of credit offered by PayPal and Klarna rather than by me: whether you are offered them, and on what terms, is their decision based on their own checks, and their terms apply. I cannot promise that an application will be accepted. Will my idea work in black and grey?
Send the references and the placement and you will get a straight answer. Source material with real light and shadow in it translates best. Flat graphics, low-resolution screenshots and heavily filtered images give much less to build tone from.

What should I send with my enquiry?
Your reference images, the part of the body you want it on, and a rough size in centimetres. A clear photograph of the area itself is more useful than a written description of it, because placement changes the design.

How long will it take?
A day session is a full day in the chair. Smaller pieces are usually finished in one sitting; larger compositions are built across a series of sessions, and you will be told roughly how many to expect when the scope is agreed.

Is there a minimum age?
Yes. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18 in the United Kingdom, with or without a parent’s consent. Bring photographic ID to your appointment.

How should I prepare?
Eat properly beforehand, sleep, and come hydrated. Wear something comfortable that gives easy access to the area being tattooed and that you do not mind marking. Allow the full booked time.

How experienced are you?
12 years tattooing, most of it working exclusively in black and grey.

Where is the studio?
Gentleman George's Tattoo Parlour, 46 Castle Street, Liverpool L2 7LA. I am a resident artist there, in Liverpool city centre.

How do I look after it afterwards?
You will be given aftercare guidance at the end of the session. There is general guidance on the aftercare page, but the instructions you are given in person take priority — they are matched to your tattoo and the dressing used on it.
